I've decided to pick once piece of my work and compare it to an artist that has
inspired me. The artist I've decided to pick is Alex Pardee mainly because I've been Inspired by this artist's work for so many years. To me Alex Pardee's work is amazing I've decided to use the piece of work called "Ghost Of Peacock Forest"
Alex Pardee's work has helped me out loads during college mainly in sketchbook.
I love the way his work is mainly fantasy type and the colours inspire me a lot, i love to play around with ink and Alex Pardee has help me out a lot to produce my work.
This is my piece of work i have created it is called "Zombie Jasmine".
Comparing the two pieces of work there is a lot of difference between them. Alex Pardee base his work on fantasy while my work is based on portait but at the same time a little bit of horror added into it. Pardee uses much more brighter colours in his work i believe to grab the attention of the person looking at it and to make it more a piece of fantasty type of work. In my piece of work I've decided to use dulled down colours and not so bright mainly to give it a more dark type feeling.
