What are the themes of the movie?
I think there could be a lot of themes for this movie like Action, love, self confidence, character driven and finally a spy movie.
How does it present an idea of America?
It shows America to be very protective but also rather dumb etc. When Cox’s computer is easy to log on to, it also presents America of being really good at covering things up.
What role does surveillance play in the film?
Surveillance in this film help push the plot forward and help explains what is going on in the film.
What makes this film postmodern?
The relationships between the characters and also the power the C.I.A has.
Explain in your own words the motif that drives the plot forward?
The main motif I would say was the character with out each story the plot wouldn’t have moved forward as easy as it did.
Do the characters fit into the conventional stereotypes?
I think the characters do fit into conventional stereotypes.
